Whether your project is big or small, is short term or an ongoing scheme for future generations, Comm Comm has experience in supporting clients to deliver the very best results.
Below you can see a range of projects we are currently working on and have delivered in the past few years, including housing regeneration, new affordable homes, tourism and leisure projects, offices, medical facilities and more.
York Way Estate
The City of London Corporation appointed Comm Comm UK to manage construction communications for its development within York Way Estate, Islington. The project, currently underway, will deliver 91 new homes for social rent across four buildings, along with a new community centre and extensive public realm improvements.
CoLP Eastern Base (Middlesex Street Estate)
Comm Comm has been appointed to work on the City of London Police’s new Eastern Base project, being built in the car parks beneath the Middlesex Street Estate, since 2022. This project has been particularly sensitive, as it meant a loss of car parking facilities for residents, the development of an expanded police base within the car parks and refurbishment of the private podium garden at the centre of the estate. Seven shop units on Gravel Lane were also acquired for use of the police base, with tenants being relocated locally or helped with costs to move.
Brookfield Riverside
Comm Comm UK is working with various partners to help bring about a masterplan for Brookfield Riverside and Garden Village - which include a new town centre and 1,500 new homes along with changes to the roads and nearby golf course.
Curry Rise & Bray Road
Comm Comm UK is working with Notting Hill Genesis (‘NHG’) on an estate regeneration scheme in Mill Hill East. The existing estate consists of 143 homes, including 132 flats which were formerly army barracks, and multiple blocks are now suffering from subsidence. Feasibility work concluded that the best approach would involve the demolition of existing properties and replacement with news homes in an estate regeneration scheme.
Bloomsbury Quarter
On behalf of Tristan Capital Partners and Alchemy Asset Management, Comm Comm UK has undertaken the task of coordinating construction communications for the Bloomsbury Quarter project, encompassing the refurbishment of three commercial buildings situated at Southampton Row and Sicilian Avenue in Holborn.
57-70 Old Compton Street
In 2019, Soho Estates began looking at a wholesale redevelopment of a number of buildings on Old Compton Street and Bourchier Street, which are home to various businesses including restaurants and flexible workspace, to provide much-needed new office space. However, following consultation with local stakeholders, the proposals were changed to retain the existing buildings and reduce the size and scale of the scheme.
The Royal Pavilion, Aldershot
In Autumn 2023, Comm Comm UK undertook community consultation for a change of use application for the Royal Pavilion site in Aldershot, Hampshire, to develop the site from office space to a private healthcare, diagnostics and wellbeing facility.
180 Piccadilly
In 2022, Pontsarn Investments Ltd, a wholly owned subsidiary of GPE, obtained planning consent from Westminster City Council for the wholesale redevelopment of 180 Piccadilly and 50 Jermyn Street. The redevelopment includes Grade A office space as well as retail, restaurant and gym uses on the ground floor level.

South East Faversham
Comm Comm UK is appointed by the Duchy of Cornwall to undertake all communications in connection with its proposed masterplan at South East Faversham. The proposal would deliver 2,500 new homes and 2,500 jobs within a beautiful, green and sustainable new neighbourhood.
Woodberry Down Estate Regeneration
Comm Comm UK is delivering a phased consultation and engagement strategy for the ongoing regeneration of Woodberry Down Estate - a scheme which first gained planning permission in 2008. To date, phases 1 and 2 are completed, phase 3 is under construction, and we consulted on phase 4 in autumn 2022. Our current remit it to undertake Community Workshops as part of the masterplan consultation to understand the lived experience of people living and using Woodberry Down. This will be presented for public consultation in summer 2023.
Podium of the Barbican Estate
Comm Comm UK were appointed by the City Corporation to carry out public and stakeholder engagement relating to the second phase of works on the podium of the Barbican Estate.
The original objective of the scheme was to repair the podium and the drainage system to prevent further ingress and damage to the Grade II listed Barbican Estate. This provided an opportunity to introduce landscape enhancements and improvement to the greening and biodiversity of the estate, in line with the City Corporation’s Climate Action Strategy.
The Eight Gardens
Comm Comm UK was appointed to lead the communications and community consultation for the regeneration of a brownfield site in the heart Watford, close to Watford Junction and its train and bus links to London, Hertfordshire and the north, in 2018.
The Mullin Motor Museum
The Mullin Automotive Museum is an exciting project to bring the world class Peter Mullin car collection to the UK, with a motor museum, events space, restaurant, demonstration track and 56 holiday homes all on one site. The development is on a 54-hectare site next to Enstone Airfield, Great Tew. Having originally been granted outline planning permission in 2020, Comm Comm UK were appointed to deliver the communications and public consultation strategy for the revised masterplan.
Shackleton’s Endurance
This is a new project for Comm Comm and something of a departure from our usual brief. In late 2022 we are approach by the UK Antarctic Heritage Trust to work on the Conservation Management Plan for Ernest Shackleton’s ship Endurance, which was discovered off at the bottom of the Weddell Sea, east of the Antarctic Peninsula in March 2022. It is a privilege to work on this piece of marine history and an opportunity to develop our portfolio of delivering on historical projects.
