Bloomsbury Quarter

On behalf of Tristan Capital Partners and Alchemy Asset Management, Comm Comm UK has undertaken the task of coordinating construction communications for the Bloomsbury Quarter project, encompassing the refurbishment of three commercial buildings situated at Southampton Row and Sicilian Avenue in Holborn.

Given the area's reputation as a hotspot for cycle accidents, Comm Comm UK has worked closely with Transport for London, Camden Council, and local organisations, including Camden Cyclists, to devise a comprehensive construction management plan. This plan aims to minimise any potential risks to cyclists and pedestrians during the ingress and egress of construction vehicles from the site.

In collaboration with the principal contractor, Comm Comm UK maintains ongoing dialogue with Camden Cyclists, Camden Council, and Transport for London to ensure that the site's configuration remains safe and that forthcoming works effectively mitigate any safety hazards.

Moreover, Comm Comm UK ensures regular dissemination of construction updates on a monthly basis. These updates are distributed to stakeholders, neighbours, and businesses presently operating on-site, including the Spaghetti House restaurant. Various communication channels, including email, physical correspondence, and a dedicated project website, are utilised for this purpose. The project website offers an interactive platform for the public to access detailed plans and monitor the current construction progress, featuring a timelapse video showcasing the recent installation of a crane.

In addition to these efforts, Comm Comm UK convenes quarterly on-site construction meetings. These meetings afford stakeholders, neighbouring residents, and the wider public an opportunity to examine project proposals and pose inquiries.

To date, the project has proven to be a resounding success, with potential concerns promptly addressed and the public consistently kept abreast of developments. Consequently, there have been minimal complaints registered throughout the duration of the project.
