CoLP Eastern Base (Middlesex Street Estate)
An iconic estate in the City of London required in-depth resident liaison and planning consultation to facilitate the expansion of City of London Police. Through many phases, Comm Comm UK has worked closely with a wide range of stakeholders to support the project, which has delivered a new podium garden and gym for residents.

Existing site:
1970’s housing estate, of architectural interest. Middlesex Street Estates includes Petticoat Tower, a high-rise block with a total of 88 flats over 23 floors; Petticoat Square has a total of 146 flats and maisonettes, surrounding the landscaped podium area.
Commercial units at street level around the perimeter of the estate and a basement, ground floor and (currently) disused first floor car park.
Scheme deliverables:
Development of an expanded police base in the car parks of the estate.

Construction of the base is underway and expected to be finished in early 2026.
