Comm Comm UK is working with the Priory Shopping Centre in Worksop to promote town centre investment and revive Worksop town centre. Worksop’s town centre has suffered in recent years due to the increase in online shopping and out of town retail developments. As a major land-owner and key player in the heart of Worksop, the Priory Shopping Centre is doing all it can to fill empty shops in the centre.

In 2019, Comm Comm UK supported the centre in securing consent for a new food store, access and delivery improvements, new public washrooms and improved parking. The scheme is aimed at attracting a major supermarket, which will act as an anchor to bring more shops to the town centre. The plans were welcomed by Bassetlaw District Council and over the years, Comm Comm UK has facilitated a good working relationship with the Council.

Comm Comm UK is continuing to work with the shopping centre and has launched the ‘We Love Worksop High Street’ campaign to bring further improvements to the town centre. Comm Comm UK is working with local business owners and the community to find creative solutions to bring businesses and residents together, promote entrepreneurialism and attract big-name brands to Worksop. The campaign has created a significant buzz in the town and nearly 100 locals have pledged their support to work with us, bringing change to Worksop.
